Hi Jan,
I´m not able to create categories and my idea is, that is another f*** chmod problem! The folders ../phocadownload/ and ../images/phocadownload have still chmod 777 rights. Any ideas??

Categories are created in sql database ? do you have problems with categories in database or in categories "folder" on the server disc? do you have enabled FTP layer ?
