Displaying Picasa and Facebook image titels

Dear forum members,

I'm a big Phoca fan. 8)

Easy to install and it does what i need. There is just One thing that i would love to see different.

I use phoca gallery for almost 2 years, every week now. (average 5 categories x 100w = 500 downloads(exclude the ones i did wrong myself). My site holds 1420 image picasa connections. 8) :o

When I download my Picasa album I need to rewrite all the Titles. I don't like the DCS0000021.jpg name. So I use a download category, rename the new (missing) pictures and relocate them in the right (existing) category to prevent my existing image titles are overwritten.

So i corrected 1420 titles through the years.

But it would be so easy if i can just overwrite or download the complete album every time and the gallery uses the title that is in my picasa and not the filename. It would save me a LOT of time.

I hope i explain my problem clearly. AND hope to find a solution. :)

Hi, yes, this will be great, but Picasa image does not have any title, I think, there is only caption as description  This is why the filename is set there.
