I have created a FaceBook Gallery which imports the images from Facebook.
I am using Joomla 2.5.6 and Phoca Gallery 3.2.6
The gallery thumbnails load up and show correctly, but for some reason there is a really slow loading time when you click on an image, I have tried changing the pop-up window effect as I thought it might be a conflict in scripts but it doesn't matter what option you choose the loading time of the image is slow

Can anyone recommend what might be causing the slow loading time?

Hi, you or your site or Phoca Gallery does not have any influence on how long will the facebook images loaded.

If the images are loaded from facebook server, then user visiting your site is waiting for loading them from facebook server (so it depends on facebook server how long it will take to load all the images) - images are directly displayed from facebook server to user's browser.

So this is more a question on facebook developers

Just as a test I uploaded all the images onto the site so that didn't come from an external source such as FB, the images take just as long to load up from the gallery that is on the server as the ones that come from FB

When you click on the images in the backend they load up instantaneously, it is only on the Frontend when it is loading images from the gallery this issue occurs.

Hi, on that site, the images are loaded from facebook.

If you get problems with loading images from your server, I think, you need to ask your webhoting provider
