Phoca Download Plugin on Joomla 3.15

Hi there
First of all, many thanks for keeping the phocadownload Module up to date.
I am using Joomla 3.15 and Phocadownload Module 3.0.1
I am having trouble with finding a suitable phocadownload Plugin (nb. linking to files, categories, etc from an article). I have downloaded phocadownload plugin, but it actually completely crashed my site - so I had to remove it.
Do you have a compatible plugin for Joomla 3?
