Cannot set backoffice permissions

I would like top give backoffice access to Phoca to admin and managers.
Currently only super user has access. If I go to component/Phoca Gallery /options/ permissions tab, and set the access to allowed, I get a message "conflict" - Calculated setting "Not allowed".
Any ideas on this one?
