Hi,
check your Phoca Gallery database tables. (e.g with help of phpMyAdmin)
If you are not able to save categories, it's possible that one or more database table are missing.
You will find all queries to create all Phoca Gallery database tables manually inside install.bak.sql file.

Kind regards,
Benno

Hi,
you don't need to find your database, phpMyAdmin will do this for you. Just login phpMyadmin inside your xampp installation. (username & password)

Kind regards,
Benno

Hallo Konrad,

"Category must have title" > You need to install the Phocagallery twice.
After the installation of PG, go to PG scroll down your screen and you will see again: "Installation" (Installation) respec. "Update" (Aktualisierung).
Just klick again on: Installation. This will built up the required database.

Hello Everybody,

I tried to go around to understand what I could do with this "CATEGORY MUST HAVE A TITLE" issue,
but I could not use any previous hints.
I am using a 2.1.6 version of Phoca under Joomla! 2.5.11. Most of the tips I have seen so far were about previous Phoca versions.

I gained access to the phpMyAdmin page, but I'm not sure what shall and edit and how?
I found all the tables there in the structure: rmdqk_phocagallery, rmdqk_phocagallery_categories, etc.
Which is the one that needs to be edited?

Could you please help me what is the easiest solution/workaround to solve this issue?

Thank you in advance!

This worked for me, after endlessly trying to reinstall with Joomla extension management. Thanks.
