extension like "Phoca Gallery Categories Display"

i found "Phoca Gallery Categories Display" best extension for phoca gallery but unfortunately it did not work 100% for me and also i did not found any support for this as this is not made by phoca.if you open this link ultimatecutlery.net/index.php/8-5-to-10-inch you can see that there is small window icon on the left side of images which make it looks not very good.
i found this best because i did not have to copy images to display them in other categories.
can phoca decide to make extension like this? or is there any module or plugin available like this for phoca gallery.
