Can you tell me where i can find the file that sends the notification email. So that i can customize it a little bit of structure.

Kind regards

Hi, which version of Phoca Guestbook you are using?

Since I was having the exact same question: I am currently running on version 2.07

Please inlcude this info(your answer) also in the manual or a faq. I'm not the only one who was wondering.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but the original poster didn't respond.....

Hi Jan,

edit

Sorry, somehow my client software(winscp) was messed up. It didn't show the correct contents for multiple folders. After an automated search this got fixed. Now I have the file within my reach :)

Thanks.

/edit

assuming guestbook.ph was a typo and should have ended with .php, or is it a python script? Unfortunately neither of those files exists on our server in the referred location.

What I found is:
subfolders
- forms
- fields
files
- phocaguestbooks.php
- phocaguestbookbs.php
- phocaguestbookb.php
- phocaguestbook.php
- index.html

Neither of these files does contain sendMail method.

I do find the file in the installation package(which I used to upgrade) containing the method you pointed me at. Strange enough to find the files not back at the server.

Do I need to change the files in the installation package and do an additional update? Or would it be possible to edit code straight on the server?

Regards.

Hi, there are two locations:

- one for frontend: components/com_phocaguestbook/ ...
- and second for admin: administrator/components/com_phocaguestbook ...

and it seems like you are looking at models in administration
