Filename Folding Unnecessarily

I am having difficulty stopping the filename from folding unnecessarily in the "List of Files (Category View)". Here is a sample:
ccfcoop.ca/index.php/recipes

If you can get to the Recipe page of my web site (shown above), you will see that the file name displayed by Phoca Download looks like this:
recipefri
ttata.pdf
yet there is room in the display for it to look like this
recipefrittata.pdf
the single line display would be much more friendly to the reader/user.
Is there a way that short file names can display on one line? All of the examples on your web site show the file name in a single line.
I appreciate your help on this.

Do you get this with some standard template?
If I test it with chrome and check the css, then the line is stopped by this code:

floatLeft, img.floatLeft, .floatRight, img.floatRight, [style*="float:"], [class*="float"], [id*="float"] {
max-width: 50%;
}
which is a part of this CSS
templates/alphara/includes/base/css/base-fluid.css?1360441712
Removing this will make the line standard.
