I use Phocadownload 1.0.5 beta

The Upload works without problems.
But if i would download pdf-files, the file has 0 kB after the download and could not opend.
This problem is only by pdf-files.

???,maybe try to change the mime type of the pdf file in settings, but I think, it should be ok, did you try more pdf's

EDIT: I have tried yet and it seems to working without any problems (suse, freebsd, xp - php5, php4)

The mime type in my setting (allowed file types) is: {pdf=application/pdf}
Yes, i try more and it is allways the same problem.

But if i would download the file with the QuiXplorer it is the same problem.
I think the problem is not in Phocadownload, maybe the problem is in my Joomlasettings or anywhere else.

should not be, which browser do you use for donwloading ?

I use IE 7 and Opera.
When i use a ftp-program the file will be open without problems.
Opera 9.62 bring the Error message: 'There are no registered application for that file'
IE and Safari bring a 0 KB file.

I got the same with doc and pdf in firefox, so maybe there the file cannot be read from your server ?

check
- permissions of the file
- ownership of the file
- if ftp layer is enabled or disabled ... if all is ok

try to use direct link ...

I'll check everything and thanks for the help if I have no other solution, I will just work with direct link
