Hello,

I want to set Category Images, now it is a icon like 100 files. How can i set that it uses a image but every time you reload the page it picks another?

I already looked there, but i cant find ''Parameters'', im using Dutch Joomla.

Categories View Settings -->
Displaying Style=Categories & Images
Display Subcategories=No
Display Empty Categories=No
Save & Close

Now it doesnt show my subcategories because the parents categories are empty....

You did not mention in your first post that you use subcategories.
So you should set:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Categories View Settings -->
Displaying Style=Categories & Images
Display Subcategories=No
Display Empty Categories=No
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Category View Settings -->
Display Image Instead Of Folder Icon=Yes
Save & Close
Then you should copy an image in each emty root category, create thumbnails and set this thumbnails to "Unauthorized".
This means, this images are not visable inside this categories (e.g. in Detail View) but only as category icons.
This is exactly describt in the link I posted you.
At last it will look like this:

Now i have another question:
I want the description out of the image box (the image box has now a sort of frame) but i want the text not in a frame. How can i do this?

And now im getting a number after its name (7) because they are unauthorized, how can i remove that to?

Also on the homepage it doesnt pick Random pictures, only the last one.
