Backgroundcolor problems

Hallo Supporters,
hope you can help me. My Englisch is very bad so i try to explaine my problem.
I have installed the Guestbook 2.0.7 on my Page, it works perfekt for me. My problem is, i have choosen a black Template in joomla (Version 2.5.
as a standart, and if i get a Guestbook posting the Text is wroten in Black and the Background of the Template is also black 
so i and the others cant see the Message 
.
Its the same on every dark Template, is it possible to Edit the Guestbook CSS? If yes, can someone say me what part of the Guestbook do i have to edit.
I realy appreciate every little tipp to solf the problem.
