Hi I have gallery - expecting shadowbox to be part of it .. where do I get shadowbox from, and where is the documentation ? It is not obvious to me at all , yet it is on the demo site.

Hi,
you don't need to download shadowbox. Go to:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Dispay --> Detail View Settings --> Detail Window=Shadowbox
