Hi,

I have configured Phoca Guestbookso all users can send in items/text. Problem is that registered users have to login before they can send in an item. This means that everyone with a similar name as one of the registered users can not send in items.

What am I doing wrong?

Yes this is the protection against some user will use username from other user ...

If user A is not logged in, the system takes him as guest and he cannot leave a comment as A because he is not logged in... ... the same as e.g. with bank accout... nobody can get your money from your bank account (nobody can use your name) and you cannot get money from your bank account if you are not identified (you cannot use your name if you are not logged in) ... you are doing nothing wrong, there is no other solution

I'm in a need for a fix for this. It is quite impossible to use Pocha Guestbook with this restriction. I see your argument, but am in an urgent need of a way to get around it. Could someone please provide a suggestion on how to solve this major problem. I'm so stressed by not being able to change this myself that I am soon bursting into tears

And how do I cusotmize? That was my question... (And others have asked before me without getting this answered.)
