Dear Phocaists
I have had phoca gallery for a year and it worked great but suddenly it stopped working and I did not found any solution in you forum or any where else , the problems are
1) i can not upload pictures from phoca to my ftp ( i have checked the ftp in joomla)
2) if i upload them with filezilla the problem still remain there, and the phoca gallery is not creating thumnails anymore.
what should i do?
by the way, I did not understand what you meant by GD.

I have searched every where and I still have the mentioned problem, any help?

Hi, first GD is a library of php which creates thumbnails on your server.

Second, if you have problems with ftp images to your site, this seems like some server limit (permissions, ownership, etc.) try to ask your webhosting provider, maybe you will get more info about this issue

I checked the file permissions and it was OK.
Phoca Gallery was working nice and clean I don't know what has happened suddenly.
I can also upload file from other applications and tell phoca to add those images but still process page is gone and not working anymore.

thumbnail creation status is disabled. should it be so? or this is the problem?

i enabled thumbnail generation , but as I go to images a blank page will appear and a stop thumbnail Generation red text will appear. what should I do ?

I found this issue :
PHP Settings Parameter allow_url_fopen (Needs not to be enabled if cURL functions are disabled)
this is disabled in my phoca gallery, can it be because of this?

I found a problem with my tmp path and i corrected it in global configuration, but also ii upgraded phoca to the newest one, but still it wont work. the older posts are working fine, but i can not add new ones.

Hi, the curl is undependent to thumbnails creation. Did you ask your webhosting provider? Try to enable php error reporting, maybe there is some php error which will be displayed - then it can be corrected.
