I was looking forward to using this after having issues with other gallery. However I am unable to even upload images

seeing this error multiple times

Stop Thumbnail Generation

Warning: imagecreatefromjpeg() [function.imagecreatefromjpeg]: gd-jpeg, libjpeg: recoverable error: Premature end of JPEG file in

I click on Stop Thumbnail Gen but the page just sits there. If I leave the component and go back to Images, that error page is still there.
Any ideas?

Hi,
there could be possible two problems:

1) There is something wrong with GD library on your server (GD is producing the thumbnails)
2) and or the image is somehow corrupted, so the thumbnails could not be done from this image.

Try to test with other images, if you will get the same error, then seems like some problem with GD library (use images from other camera)
