Hi there,

Been battling trying to get my gallery to show 2 columns. Have tried everything! I need 2 columns to fit in with my website.

The website is tingalalodge.co.za.

Mine is stuck in 1 Column for the images as well.
Also CANNOT change the size of the image box.

Nothing in Phoca options changes the size of the image box or number of columns.
It seems to be stuck.

Ah, glad to know there is someone else out there with the same problem.

Also tried EVERYTHING! Tried different positions, changed everything on the options, etc. I wonder if it wouldn't just be a good idea to re-install and hope for the best???

Hi, in categories view you can set more columns. In category view, there are only float boxes which fill all the site, so this needs to be directly customized in the html output:

components/com_phocagallery/views/category/tmpl/ ...

I haven't experienced this issue with standard gallery view however I cretead menu items that are relative to particular tags.. So instead of a user having to search for images with "winter" tag the menu item simple shows the results of a predefined search... problem is that when sorting images via tags I only have 2 columns...

I've tried just about everything I can think of even editing the css file from width"auto; to width:180%; - - this works great but if a user tries to view a enlarged view obviously it doesnt work properly....

regardless if I use the predefined search menu item or if I simply go to category view then click on the tag I have the same problem...

what file would I edit to change the float box for tag view?

Found the file but what do I change?

Nevermind.. Got it - - I'm don't think this applies to everyone else's problem but to change the categery view when filtered by tags goto options in control panel.. in the display tab scroll 3/4 of the way down to Geberal Settings section and change the Phoca Gallery width from (blank) to whatever you need... for me 650 worked..

Note here you can't use percentage or the px.. enter numbers only
