Isolating gallery categories

A site i am working on has diversified a little. My client is hosting 3D artwork of an artist. Subsequently, we wish to keep galleries separate.

Is this possible with Phoca Gallery? I have created separate menu items for the artwork of Client and Artist, but I can not seem to keep the Categories of one from showing up on the Categories of another. I wish to isolate what categories can show up.

Hi, you can create menu links to different categories and set that there will be no return (back, up) button.

Hello Jan,

Could you please elaborate more as to where in the documentation it sets out how I can isolate which categories in Phoca can be assigned to a particular menu item. Clicking the link you provided was not specific enough. I have read through those items and I can not find what I need. Do I have to create a Module in Joomla to make this possible?

Thanks for your reply,

Hi, what exactly you don't understand

- create menu links to differenent categories - just go to menu manager and create menu link to category of gallery, save it and then create new menu link to other category
- in options (or menu link parameters if joomla 1.5 is used) set that the back button and button to parent categories will be hidden.
