Dear Jan and mates,

I am having such error messages after installing phoca gallery components:

1. in images, categories section:
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in C:\Domains\xxxi\xxx.com\wwwroot\libraries\joomla\database\database\mysql.php on line 293 Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in C:\Domains\creativi\cms.9-creativision.com\wwwroot\libraries\joomla\database\database\mysql.php on line 293

2. Batch process the selected images, categories:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\Domains\xxx\xxx.com\wwwroot\administrator\components\com_phocagallery\libraries\phocagallery\render\renderadmin.php on line 70

3. Below the section of Joomla!® is free software released under the GNU General Public License. :

I tried to fix it according to the articles of https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... em-solving , but failed.

I also googled other solutions on website, none of them can help.

I did as Jan said enable Debug System on Joomla global configuration, but the message of "The connection was reset"
shown when I clicked images or categories button on Phoca Gallery Control Panel. I could not see any debug massage on that page.

I used joomla 2.5.7, server version: 5.1.46-community, phpmyadmin 2.11.6, MySQL client version: 5.0.51a, Phoca Gallery Control Panel3.2.2

Hi, the debug should display error messages from database (mostly which tables or columns are missing) - php errors display that there is such problem in database - so really no idea why the database does not return any message on your server

Before I made this post I, i do tried to follow your 2 referred articles: 573-most-frequent-errors and 203-installation-problem-solving;
1. by setting Joomla! administration - Site - Global Configuration - System - Debug System to Yes.
When I clicked the button of Images or Categories on the Phoca Gallery Control Panel, the browser shows the message of "The connection was reset".
The web hosting server is IIS.
2. by alter the sql in phpmyadmin site, the result remains the same. (mysqli)

Jan, I am guessing the extension code conflicts with the server database and I don't know how to fix it.
After a couple of weeks trial and error, I decided not to use phoca extension temporary, due to dateline.
For me this extension is awesome, I would install it on my personal website later on when it releases new patch.

I am having a similar problem where once I install phoca gallery and click on anything in the control panel I simple get a blank page with the message the connection to the server has been reset. Any help on this at all would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, unfortunately I don't have any experiences with IIS, so cannot give any clue advice there, so I think maybe in some errorLog will be displayed what can be wrong on the server
