Display Form Hide not working

Just installed Phoca Guestbook on Joomla 2.5.7 with Beez20 template.
Display Form with hide selected still appears. The "post message" link appears with the form under it without pressing the link.
Got same results using IE9 and chrome. Not sure what to look at to fix?

Hi, display form means, that there will be a link, clicking on link will open the form. If this does not work on your site, check javascript console in your browser if there is no javascript error.

Yes, the link appears, but the form is always there, too. It's never hidden. Can you help me with your instructions -- I'm not familiar with javascript console. I have this on another site, too, and it works perfectly.

A happy ending update. When I updated the site from Joomla 2.7 to 2.8, the problem was resolved!
