one user = one main category?

hi, it seems like i can create just one category and add images just into this, i mean one for a user.
can i create some others with same author?there's an option?

Hi,
no, just one main category for every user (but they can add more subcategories).
Also, you can give users rights to upload to existing categories. maybe that helps.

yes, main categories are by default created in the root of the category tree.

and that's what i want. Users (admins) should can create main and subcategories (categories for each sport and subcategories for a specific event). is that possible?

using the front-end each user (regardless if he is an admin or not) can create 1 main category and within that category as many subcategorie as you allow him to create.

i know that, so is not possible for each user create more than 1 main category? in the link above all that main categories were create from users as much as categories? one main category is useless in my case, all admins use the same joomla account, and they should create more that 1 main category.
sorry for my english, clearly i can't explain my issue so well.
