I have a problem with URL.
Joomla 2.5.6 and Phoca Gallery 3.2.1
3 levels category/subcategory
I create menu items as menu and submenu of phocagallery category (image).


Menu have URL as
http://domain/language/menualias1/subme ... menualias3

Phoca category link as
http://domain/language/menualias1/categ ... egoryalias

URL phoca category link have wrong tree in breadcrumbs.
URL menu have true tree in breadcrumbs.

(1) How i can make true category link as menu URL (in phoca category view) ?
(2) How i can make true breadcrumbs ?
(3) Without menu for each categry/subcategory i can not make link for language version of each category as switch (Joomla).
Language links may create only as menu links!

Please, help me in this problem.

Hi, Phoca Gallery does not create tree for its category - you just have the category ID in URL - to create a tree in breadcrumbs this needs to be customized in the code (which then of course takes more resources - to manage the tree in URL parameters).

So:
2) needs to be customized - for now no experiences with this
3) Phoca Gallery supports standard Joomla! multilanguage feature so the links get standard prefix of languages

In Joomla 2.5.6 uses communication tool through menu options as the pages in different languages​​. All is well for the main menu gallery, because it uses a URL format menu. But for nested categories URL does not match the new menu item category. This makes it impossible to create a page and link it to transfer funds Jumla is for sub-categories.

Is it possible to create menus for sub-categories and configure them as language versions of the same page?

P.S. I have more than 180 categories and 11000 photos.

Hi, you can set link to all categories or to specific category but not sure if this can fit your needs, standardly (as Joomla! core feature) if the language is active, categories and subcategories of this language are displayed, not other.

Goal - the standard language switching display current category, not the main page. This is possible only if the two are related in Joomla menu each of which is tied to its category galleries in their own language. And it would have worked, but not sub-category shows photos by using menu items. Used on the sub-category menu entry to the gallery (always the same). So being in the sub-category of language switching does not work, although the menu items are created.
What is the solution? Create a set of the category field and in the menu (for example 124). And check if the number is displayed, then create a URL category index.php?Itemid=124. Joomla convert this url automatically. It's like a workable interim solution.
