Phoca search module for 2.5.6?

Is there a way to add a search module my Joomla 2.5.6 Phoca Gallery 3.2? I can add this to the Phoca suggestion page if not.

Hi,
you can use the joomla! standard search module, if you install the Phoca Gallery Search Plugin.

Unfortunately, until now only for the Joomla! 1.5 version.
