I have followed the quick guide and some more detailed pages and got a series of thumbnails on which I can click.

But there are all sorts of goodies listed on the Phoca Gallery pages, like modal box, shadow box, etc.

How do you get to them?

And for the doc, parameters are no longer in "Parameters", but in "Options". And a particular one is not easy to find.

You're looking for the detail view settings (scroll down on the first options tab).

Thanks for your reply. Does this mean that all the galleries on a given site must be of the same detail settings?

A slightly different question: Does Phoca Gallery always construct its own page for a given album (category) or can a Phoca gallery be inserted into an existing page on some module or another.

1. yes.

2. if you use the phoca gallery plugin (and if you like the button), you can insert images and/or categories into joomla articles. There is also an image module, which allows you to display images in a module.
