Wouldn't it be great if there were a "default" option in the admin view of the images by category, to choose the default image for the category?!

Thanks. It would still be nice to have it as a configurable option within the admin rather than hacking code. With the code hacking you still have to use the "ordering" instead of just choosing an image that may be last in your ordering.

ordering is in feature request list, but don't know when I find time for it, so now this solution can be used as "temporary"
