Hi, first of all, Phoca Gallery rocks! I've always used RSGallery. But your gallery is MUCH better.

So, I really need a switch in the parameters to display the description under the thumbnails. Is this possible?

you do know that you can display names under the thumbnails right?

And if I'm not mistaken, you can display the names as description in the detail view...

Doesn't this solve your problem?

Thanks for all the responses. We know we can display the name below the thumbnail. But, we'd like to display the description below the thumbnail.

But there is no place for displaying description below the thumbnails in category view...

but you can write own template design, Phoca Gallery uses MVC model, so only VIEW of the MVC part should by changed, it means, for custom displaying, just change the following file:

components\com_phocagallery\views\category\tmpl\default.php
