image size in popup box

Hi, I'm new and I'm trying this fantastic phoca gallery module. I have a question regarding the size of the popup window. I tried setting in main menu of phoca gallery module an high value in "large image width and the height" but nothing has changed. I reloaded thumbnail each time, but the pictures remain under 600px . For example, if i'm setting the image height and width to 3000 px the picture popup remain small about 600px. But if i put a small value like 50 px the popup window decreases. How can I do? thank you
