Source data: Joomla 2.5.4 + Phoca Gallery 3.1.5

There is a certain structure of categories in Phoca Gallery:
Category 1 - which assigned as root menu item of main menu:
-Subcategory 1.1
-Subcategory 1.2.

If you came to Subcategory 1.1 from the root menu item of "Phoca category view" type, page url looks like http://www.svadbamorkov.ru/index.php?op ... Itemid=475 and Custome HTML Module dosn't displayed on the page although it assigned to child menu item "Subcategory1.1" of root menu item. Child menu item is aimed on Subcategory 1.1 by selecting "category view" menu item type.

If you came to Subcategory 1.1 from the root menu item of "Phoca categories view" type, page url looks like http://www.svadbamorkov.ru/index.php?op ... Itemid=563 and Custome HTML Module is displayed very well.

First question, what is the Itemid (at the end of url) charged with(what is the responsibility of the Itemid at the url's tail, e.g. Item=653)?
The second - What file is responsible for creation of these urls? I want make them identical.
And the third - Am I digging in a right direction?

the Itemid in the url is generated by Joomla, not phoca gallery and corresponds to the menu item (each menu item has its unique item id) and is used e.g. to control the display of modules or templates that are assigned to this specific menu item.

the item id stays the same until you click on another menu link, that means if you navigate from categories view to a subcategory by clicking the thumbnails or category names displayed by phoca gallery, the item id does not change (itemid=id of the first menu link). But when you open the same subcategory directly by clicking the corresponding menu link, the item id has the id of this menu link.

It's not true. When I come to the subcategory through the categories view Itemid changes from a parent menu Itemid to child menu Itemid. That is why my module is displayed with Itemid=563 (this is menu itemid of subcategory having category view presentation) Look at my menu structure:

But when I come through the category view of root menu item(like at the picture), Itemid stays the same(475). So if Itemid habitation is connected with selection of phoca menu item type i think it needs to be something changed in Phoca files. Am I right? So where does this code lie, in which file?

There are a few inconveniences to use categories view presentation as root menu item. That is why I want to tune category view presentation
