G'Day,

I want to add a new icon and a custom link under the thumbnail image (ie my own download link if you will). Is the best way to do this to go and hack the code or is there another way?

If hacking the code is the way to go then what is the best approach? Something that would preferably not get lost when an upgrade is performed.

All help greatly appreciated.

Hi, you have to hack the code becuase there is no such option
this file should be edited, just add an icon and link (html code) here
components\com_phocagallery\views\category\tmpl\default.php

Thanks, I will go and hack the code. Perhaps this would be a nice feature to add? Parameters I would think would be:

- Image
- Hint
- URL (With the ability to substitute in the image name, description etc. via a token Eg. /someurl/im=%ImageName%&id=%ImageDescription%)
