updated my working 1.8.8 to 2.0.0.

Result: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/.../.../htdocs/components/com_phocagallery/models/categories.php on line 53

Line 53: foreach ($this->_data as $key2 => $value2)

Joomla 1.5.7

Any idea?

Perhaps there is a solution on the board...but your search engine doesn´t allow a search for items less than three caracters... and 53 has only two...so perhaps I couldn´t find it because of this

see if you have tables for phoca gallery categories in your database...

$this->_data should be data loaded from phocagallery_categories and phocagallery_user_category, ..votes_statistics...

Yes, in my database there are jos_phocagallery and jos_phocagallery_categories.

Error /com_phocagallery/models/categories.php on line 53: This was the result, when i published the gallery.

Just took a look in joomla-backend and found under phoca/categories following warnings.

My Provider is 1und1 with mysql 4.

Perhaps this helps to find a solution to solve this problem.

but you need not only the 2 tables you have, but 6 tables (4 are news), see:

tried everything, SQL manuel (...) but can´t get it running...

Seems that joomla 1.5.7, MySQL 4.0.26 and Phoca 2.0 are not that compatible as it should be..
Have now updated a test-domain: With 1.5.7 and MySQL 5.0 the direct installation of 2.0 failed too. Was only possible to install 1.8.8 and than upgrade to 2.0. Seems that there are some bugs in 1.5.7, too. e.g. standard installation example data did fail...found a lot about it in Google...

O.k, have to stop now with wasting our time with this.
As i can´t upgrade the existing page from MsSQL 4 to 5: is there a way to downgrade 2.0 to the last running version 1.8.8?

Or do i have to build up the galleries completly new?

Hi, you can install 1.8.8, it only overwrites the files (no changes in database) if you click on "upgrade" and it should work

this was the greatest help of all...)
Didn´t try it before because I didn´t know what would happen.
Perhaps you should add this downgrade information to your documentation.
It was more than helpful, downgrade from 2.0.0 to 1.8.8 via upload 1.8.8 and than press UPGRADE... and 1.8.8 is running as it did on the first day.

Really great job, worth a donation, will follow next week!
