Auto resize at upload

Hi

I would very much like that Phoca gallery auto resize my images when I upload. I find it hard work to resize every picture before upload, so this would make it a lot easier. I have read that this might be possible using the jave upload feature. I have changed the resolution in parameters, but when I then try to upload using the jave feature, it tells me that the image is to big?

Possible bug: It also says the the max size is 0 mb. But in options 0 should be unlimited size? Changing it still did not fix the resize problem.

Sorry. I see now that I have to change Multiple Resize Width and height from -1. What should it be changed to? And is the resolution defined here fixed, so it will also crop the images to the given resolution? I have images of very different formats and just want to make them smaller not the same width and height.

It also says that it doesnt work with multiple uploads. Is it possible to make it work with multiple uploads?

Thanks for a great extension all together.

Best regards
Martin

Ok. I figured it out. The Resize Width and height should be defined as the max resolution you want, and images will not be cropped. It works very nice and makes things a lot easier. The only thing: You really have to make sure you use the correct directories both when uploading and saving. If not the folder structure and categorie-structure will go all funny.

It also works with multiple uploads. Java does come up with some error pop-ups, but works anyway.

Thanks a lot.
