So, i have started to upgrade/migrate one of the sites i manage, and this one has thousands of images in multiple folders, i use Phoca Gallery since its.. well, best.

Any ideas how i should migrate/upgrade? Right now i have just been creating a mirror site copying everything from J1.5 to J2.5 since that seemed to be the most safe way to do it. Now i came to the images.. i dont know what to do here.

Should i just d/l PG 2.5, install and upload the images again, or is there an easier way?

I spent hours doing it the last time, not one of my favourite things to do ....

Thanks mate, and sorry for not searching enough!

As for future searches, i followed the instructions in the link that Jan posted, and it took me perhaps a total of 5 minutes to transfer thousands of images, and hundreds of categories. In other words, follow the instructions, it was not a difficult task.
