havnt spent much time with image galleries in joomla but what i need to accomplish something.. im uploading all my screen captures and small screen capture videos that the application jing produces to my FTP on my host.. i want to have a front end to that directory showing my images and video files for frontend viewing.. the videos are .swf files. the file is also outside of joomla root. i need pagination for basically unlimited viewing as well, but all uploading will be done through FTP. i was wondering if phoca gallery can accomplish this?

Hi, not as default, there were some guides how to displaye videos (flv - swf) in Phoca Gallery, but they seems not to be updated:

Since, mostly videos are displayed by YouTube ( https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ube-videos ), there will be no similar updated guides, I think

do you plan to add the functionality for local videos? this would be amaing!

also if anyone has been able to do this with phoca, i dont really need a thumbnail of the actual video, a placeholder would work fine im sure..
