Hello,

i've upgraded my Joomla installation to 2.5. After the upgrade of Joomla I also installed the latest version of PhocaGallery. After this, I imported the database-rows from Joomla 1.5 and imported them in the new database of Joomla 2.5. The photo's are showed on the frontend of the website, but in the backend I still get several errors:

The following error is showed on the pages "images" and "categories" in the Phoca Component

Warning: mysqli_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, boolean given in /var/www/vhosts/khsc.nl/httpdocs/site/libraries/joomla/database/database/mysqli.php on line 263

The following error is showed on the pages "Category Rating", "Image Rating", "Category Comments" and "Image Comments".

Unknown column 'a.language' ...

I am upgrading too. first to Joomla 2.5, than to 2.5.1
I have installed phoca gallery - deinstalled - new installed - deinstalled.... (latest version)
BUT =
1.) I can deinstalled all phoca elements with joomla admin
2.) when I installed the gallery, I losed my editoren-Template (eg Modul for own html-code)

What is that? So I think I have to lookup for a list or information about manual deinstall the "new" phoca gallery. Have you some informations about the manual deinstallation? Thank you very, very mutch! Monica

Hello Jan,
sorry, but I cant reach the phoca Forum the last days.
Okay. Again.
First time I installed the phoca gallery and the tree plugin and the slide show (after updated joomla 1.7.1 to 2.5 and 2.5.1)
= nothing will work (white site eg). After deinstall, install... I can see my site. But, when I open the modul management to insert "modul with own html", nothing will work. But there where so many errors, (eg I can't de-install the phoca plugins/extensions and the phoca language-extensions), so I installed for this project a new joomla 2.5.1 and make all new !
Okay - all works fine. as a second step I installed only the phoca gallery and it works fine "after" I installed the multilanguage plugin (enable it) ! But......please note: you tree-extensions will make all broken.
In this time I have the problem again, can't de-install the tree-plugin. The message=

Paketdeinstallation: Manifest-Datei kann nicht gefunden werden.
Diese Sprache kann, so lange sie als Standardsprache festgelegt ist, nicht deinstalliert werden.

So I loose 1,5 weeks. My only questions today is, what I have to do, for de-install the tree-plugin + the language file?
I can make a menu with joomla - no problem .... but it is very urgent today, that it works. Please have you any answhere for the de-install problem? Thanks, Moni

Hi,

1) I don't know what is: pkg_KomponenteSprachdateiDeutsch.xml, where this is comming from? really no idea

2) Did you install the component? The plugin requires component to work, seems like the component is not installed?

Thanks for reply. I looked over the suggested steps for incorporating the export and importing,
but I am confused about a few things.

For one, the database I am exporting from is the same database I would be importing into.
When I migrated from 1.5.26 to 2.5 using jupgrade, my mySQL database merely created
j25_prefix tables for the migration in the same database.

So, following those instructions, it looks like I would just be exporting and importing
right back into the same database??!!

I am still running the 1.5.26 site in another directory while I make the migration, so
I don't want to delete all the jos_phoco tables. Everything works in the1.5.26 install
at this time, with no errors. Any suggestions?

By the way, sent a donation. Great app, just need it working in Joomla 2.5

Hi, you can export/import independent to the database (if the tables are in the database or not)

- just export the tables with old prefix - rename them to new prefix and import with this new prefix.
