Feature request - Backend view images in subfolders

Would it be possible when viewing images in the back end when you select the category filter to be able to view subcategory images as well?

The reason I ask is because on my website, (http://www.artistsphotosource.co.uk), when I add a lot of images using the multiple add function, sometimes it doesn't generate all the thumbnails immediately. This isn't a problem generally, because I just view the images in that category and the the thumbnails are generated. However, on that site sometimes there are a lot of subcategories and I have to go into each one to generate the thumbs.

If I could just view a category and its children then this would save some work.

Cheers!

Hi, I don't understand, while using multiple add, all the folder tree is converted to thumbnails, categories, subcategories

I have found that if you add a lot of pictures at one time, not all of the thumbnails don't get created. It creates some but not all, probably because of some timeout issue.

It's hard to say why, because there is no logging of category, subcategory and thumbnail creation. So I have to visit every category and subcategory to make sure that all the thumbnails are created.
