Single image in article ->pop-up slideshow of whole category

Hi,

sorry that I have to bother this forum with yet another question.
Somehow the things, that I think are the most basic of all make the most troubles:

I want to have 1 (one!) picture of a category in an article, and when a visitor clicks on that window,
a modal box/slimbox detail view appears, which allows him to browse slideshow-like through all the other images
of that category using "next"-buttons/images.

So far, I only succeeded to do:

1) Display ALL images of the gallery in the article. Then it is possible to click one and get to the others with "next"-buttons.
(Not in Modal-Box, though. There seem to be no such buttons there, even though there are some on the modal-box examples on the phoca demo-site)
2) Disploy ONE image (by restricting image count) but then I can't slide to the others of that category.

I feel incredibly stupid, but after having tried for hours, you guys are my last resort.

Hi, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... al-advices (8)

You can customize code output (used with iframe method) and set displaying only first image - all other e.g. hide with help of css or php - then clicking on the image with iframe method will display all other images.

Could you be a little more specific on how to do that?
E.g. where exactly can I "customize code output (used with iframe method)" and how do I "set displaying only first image"?

thx, sov

Thanks for your answer.
Meanwhile I actually almost got what I want WITHOUT the need to mess with the css/php-code,
because with the iframe method the "limitcount"-command only regulates the number of thumbnails,
but I can still slide through all pictures of the category once I've clicked on one.

Unfortunately (besides being quite ugly) this method seems to mess with the size of the detail image.
The detail images should be 800x600px, but instead, the iframe itself has 800x600px and (because of the
navigation arrows etc.) only shows a smaller picture.

Is that intended in this way? Which parameter would I have to change? Large image size?

thx again, sov

Hi, you can set the size of popup window (iframe) in parameters:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... -menu-item
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... parameters

Detail Window Width
Detail Window Height
