Forbidden word list

Hi,

I've just installed the latest Phoca Guestbook on Joomla 1.5.6 but I am having a problem getting the filter to work.
I have comma separated the list and tried listing the words on each line. Which way should it be done?
Is there a file I should check for permissions?
Has anybody got any other ideas of what to look at?

Thanks for any help received

G

Did you add these words into the input field in parameters component, in menu manager - link to phoca guestbook (are the word with some diacritics, on some server diacritics are saved as html entities and this don't work ... :( )

Hi Jan, thanks for the reply.
There are no diacritics used in the words. Just the usual swearing, offensive words in English.
I filled it out in both ways.
Components => Phoca guestbook => Items => Parameters
and
Menu Mangaer => User menu (Menu Items) => Rant board (my name for the guest book) => Parameters(Componenet)

Also, is it possible to stop the name input field from being edited or hidden? So it shows their username on the posting, I've different options in the parameters but am unable to do it.

Many thanks

G

if the words are saved in parameters component, then it should work ??? no idea what can be wrong ?

stop the editing, you can only hide this input form field but not make it readonly (you can do it in html / php code

components/com_phocagauestbook/views/phocaguestbook/tmpl/default.php

Thanks Jan

I may try reinstalling it, see if that helps.
Should the words be listed as 1 per line or comma separated?
Where are the forbidden words stored?

Thanks

I've sorted it now :)

 semi colon separated. Not comma, or one per line
