Repairing table after rebuild

I hope someone can help I've searched through the forum and handbook but can't find a solution that makes sense.

My site was recently hacked so I had to clear it all out and rebuild. OnceI'd reinstalled Joomla and my extensions and all the extras like photos into their correct folder I then imported the backed up Joomla Mysql database. At the moment all my photos are showing where they should be in the galleries at the front end however the back end table is blank. I thied using the multiple upload and chose the photos back in their folders but nothinbg happened.

I'm wondering whether I have to restore another of the Mysql databases but there are several to choose from. There are 2 called web230-a-gall-29 and web230-a-gall-31 but they both register as 2MB, surely if one is full or the images and one is showing blank they would be different sizes.

I am totally stumped how to get back my image table and one of my team has 100+ images to upload so I'm keen to get this started. :x

Many thanks for any help.

Susan

Hi, if you can see the images in frontend, try to enable debug mode and php error reporting, maybe there is some problem while loading them in backend.

Hi, I have followed the link provided and tried to make head or tail of it but unfortunately it is meaningless to me. I am self taught and not an IT professional at all.

Looking through the forum somone else has mentioned a similar problem using multiple add where the images aren't added. (only mine already are from a pevious install) I would really hate to have to start again with a different photo gallery but this situation really has me stumped.
The correctly showing front end of the gallery can be seen here: http://www.wiltshire-opc.org.uk/informa ... &Itemid=69
