Restrict viewing to registered users

I've searched the documentation and this forum for an answer to this simple question without success: how do I prevent the Public from viewing my photos and restrict the viewing to Registered users ? I've limited the menu item to Registered, I've restricted the Category access to Registered, I've searched the Phoca control panel for access parameters, all with no success.
Can somebody tell me where the setting of Access permissions is dealt with in the documentation or how I otherwise solve this problem ?

Hi, not sure which problem you get, but just set the category for registered users (and select users if only some of them should access it) - in category edit. This is all to prevent from displaying images in Phoca Gallery.

Thank you for this reply.
The problem I have is that non-registered users, i.e. Public, have access to my gallery. I want to restrict access to Registered users.
Re. your "...just set the category for registered users (and select users if only some of them should access it) - in category edit...", that's what I have already done: in Category:[Edit] I set Access to Registered and Access Rights to All Registered Users but if I then go to another computer owned by someone who is not registered they can see the Gallery.
Either the Access coding is not working as it should or something else in Joomla is overriding the Phoca access process.
Any other suggestions ?

Hi, really not sure, the access rules are working some years the same way and tested by thousands of users, so really no idea what can be wrong there.
