Pocagallery and Joomla 1.7 - now a serious problem

I use PhocaGallery 3.0.2 within Joomla 1.7 and in the beginning everything worked fine. For unknown reasons I have now the following situation:
Originally Phoca had a popup window to set the parameters. Then for unknown reasons the content did not open in the popup but directly in the brwoser window. I could save it but when I closed (button to be klicked with the mouse top right in the content it failed. I got a message "waiting for reimann2" (this is my website, the message was not stable it was displayed again and again. After 5 minutes I aborted it.
Now neither Phoca nor Joomla will open a popup anymore, which means I cannot work any longer properly. E.g. I cannot create a new Phoca categorie
Any ideas what can I do? I might even change something in the database -but I have no idea where and what...
