Hi, all
Couldn't find anything on this subject - if I set Absolute Path in "Settings", my preview players do not work (in a way, that they do come on and start loading, but never load anything...). But if I do not use Absolute Path, but instead use phocadownload path - then everything is good and dandy Isn't preview player not supposed to work with Absolute Path? Or am I doing something wrong?

Hi, which version of Phoca Download you are using, is the file for playing included in public_html or outside?

I'm using version 1.3.9 on Joomla 1.5.23.
And as for locations of files - I've tried both. First, and that was my goal initially, I created directory outside of public_html... Then, since I couldn't make it working, I thought to experiment a bit, and I moved it inside public_html... Neither location worked...

I have the same issue with pdf previews :
I set Absolute Path to an other subdomain of mine - the structure is like this :
mydomain.com :
-- subdomain xxx (joomla)
-- subdomain yyy (containing pdf files)

Download works fine but preview gives me 404
The adresse of the previewlink is xxx.mydomain.com/test.pdf, but it should be yyy.mydomain/test.pdf, no ?

Hi, previews and play cannot be used in case the file is outside the public_html.

If it is in public_html, it should normally work, testing now without problem so for now really don't know what can be a problem there

Other domains - didn't test it with other domains, so it is possible, such feature is not suported.

Will take it as: absolute path + preview player = no
phocadownload + preview player = yes.

Yes, I hope in next version I will be able to finish new feature - the preview and play should get own folder, so it will not influence the download.
