The captcha doesn't work on my homepage:

How can i found out if gd_image is installed?

Hi, see the info in your Joomla administration site...
Menu - Help - Syste Info - PHP information ... see the GD support ... but it is not only GD which can cause the problems, it can be the wrong way to the image too...(not correctly created URL to image)

Hi Jan, this is my php info for gd:
GD Support enabled
GD Version 2.0 or higher
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
FreeType Version 2.2.1
GIF Read Support enabled
GIF Create Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
how can I check the correct path?

first you must enable the captcha on your site, then let me know the url to captcha image, you will see it in html code ...
<img ... captcha ...
