new users missing, even after image upload

New users to my site are not shown as users in Phoca Gallery (3.0.0 with Joomla 1.6.6) --- even those who already have uploaded images to Phoca gallery.
What is wrong? Can I add them any other way?

Hi, yes the users are displayed only in case they have uploaded some image in the frontend, if they are not displayed after their upload, maybe there is someting missing in database, some database error

Hi Jan, thank you for you help! Is there a way to debug this problem? Or should I reinstall / upgrade my Phoca Gallery?

maybe try to enable debug mode in Joomla! but no idea if this can help
