I have 45 images in category and only 20 are displayed on ma gallery page

Do you know why?

I just noticed that.

I checked the admin and there is not info where to set the numbers of images in each category

Hi,

this is the list length, which you set in the general settings of Joomla!.

When you enable pagination in your menu-item (Basic Parameters), you can see the 'next and back arrows'.

You mean that it shows up under some categories, but not under all?

If you choose display selection, the visitor can choose how much pictures are displayed. (this one is supposed to show up under each category)
The pagination arrows only show up when there are more than 20 images (or what you set in your list length) in your category.

I've the same problem as here described.

At the general settings I've setup the List Length to 20. My categories have more than 20 photos and no next page is shown. In the past this works perfect, but today I saw this problem. I upgraded to 2.5.6, but it didn't solve the problem.

The first category has 61 photos as you can see. When you open that category, you will only see 20 photos and no paging option.

Has anyone an idea?

I am having exactly the same problem. I have been able to change the number of images that are displayed within the category from the default of 20 to my preferred value of 31 by changing the Pagination Default Value (Category View) and I have the back arrow enabled to return to the categories list but I cannot move between pages of images within the category - I have next / previous arrows.

caro84g - can you explain in detail how to enable pagination so I can check I havent missed something.

I have finally found it and of course it is simple when you look in the correct place !

For the benefit of others with the same problem....To switch pagination on, login as your admin user, then in the Menus drop down click on your main Menu (or whichever one you have your gallery coming from). This will list all the items on that menu including your Gallery so click on that one and then on the right hand side in the parameters (basic) section change the setting for "Show Pagination" from hide to show

I am sorry, but i not see anything about show and hide Pagination in Phocagalery option menu.
