ive put the language in extensions -- languages on Dutch as default, but the guestbook still appears in English at the front end, so i was thinking, maybe i can do it manually somewhere and ftp it

Hi, the path directly to the file is written above, or you can change the strings in language files:

I can find the file, but not where to change the information in the file :-)

But I would like to do it the right way, install the languages I need. I've already tried to install my laguages-files manually (by following the link above), but it doesn't work. I can't chose danish in backend.

Any suggestions to why I can't install/see the languages?

Get me on MSN Send to you in a PM lol was a tad to fast when posted.

I have translated the guestbook as the ones on this page is only for the RC version not the stable version of the guestbook.

If thats what you use.

I will also gladly help you with other language problems but as you can see in my post here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15769 I have problems with using 2 guestbooks and the standard name as well as I have problems with the smiley seen here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13200

But the translation and working of that Is done I have thought up giving it up here maybe I should :).
