Ok so at work im working on something that would make life a lot easier for everyone here... If I could get it to work.. :?

On our site we use the phoca gallery and the phoca gallery module to display people who are at work for the day in the side bar of the site...

At the store front we have a linux computer that when the receptionist uses when she comes in, in the morning to select the employees that will be in working that day, which puts there pictures up on a touch screen interface.

What I wanted to do is get that system to control the phoca gallery to also display the corresponding employees selected on the in house linux machine to display there phoca gallery picture to be shown on the site.. In turn using the in house computer to control the assigned sections pictures in the phoca gallery to either enable or disable by using the touch screen admin section instead of joomlas admin section.

The touch screen system is using a custom PHP script with an SQL database. And is stored on a local machine not on the web.

Any thoughts? Any info, suggestions, feedback or replies will be much appreciated as I have been trying to come up with a solution for some time now.

Basically we got a touch screen computer its running a local site using php and an SQL database.

The file I need to pull information outputs a "," delimited text that shows me who is working. Is it possible to get phoca's module to be controlled by that? like say if the alias names were the same..
