This is an excellent component. I will give it five stars over at Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I offer this seemingly unimportant feedback for clarification. After installing Phoca Download Joomla! issues this message, "Installing component was successful." Down below, the instructions read, "Please select if you want to Install or Upgrade Phoca Download component." May I suggest something similar to this instead:

NEW INSTALL
If this is a NEW INSTALL, please click Install to complete installation. If this is not a new install clicking the Install button will remove all data currently stored in the database.

UPGRADE
If this is an UPGRADE, please click Upgrade to complete installation. Your existing data will NOT be removed.

Hi, yes, so it is described in user guide, yes, maybe it is better to write directly to to installation procedure.

I second this, I just updated the Phocadownload component and pressed "Install" in stead of "Update". Small mistake, major problems. I posted another thread, asking for a solution.
