hi,

i have previously selected random images from specific categories to show up on the module. now i would like random images to show up from all categories including future ones to be created without having to go to backend to include new future categories. my understanding is that if u do not select any category than it will take random images from all categories including future ones i assume. prblem is that i cant unselect a category. it always has to have at least one selcted. can anyone advise? thanks

Yes,
1. make a backup of your database first!!
2. search the table jos_modules
3. search the entry Phoca Gallery Image Module
4. edit the entry Phoca Gallery Image Module
You will find the params dropdown box.
Delete the line category_id=(e.g.)105
Save your settings!

Now you don't have chosen any category and therefore Phoca Gallery Image Module will display images from all your categories.
