Hy,

I am trying to add some picture in phoca gallery componant.
i have created a category, and dowloaded some picture in my media library.
when i am trying to add a picture , i am choosing a picture in my media library, set a name and alias, and validate with save or save and close.
but a black page appear, and nothing happend then.
i have to return on y administration page manually, and in phoca gallery, nothing was added.
this is th url which give a blanc page after adding a picture :

Does anybody know what is the problem ?

Same problem Using WAMP on W7.64. PHP5.3.0, AP2.2.11 & Joomla 1.7.0. & PG 3.0.1. Have no clue to what may cause this problem? Any help appreciated.

Hi, install the latest 3.0.1 version.

If you get blank page, just enable php error reporting on your site, to see which error you get:

I have exactly the same problem and I cannot find what is wrong!!!
I follow the instructions on the posted link, but NONE error is shown up. Just a blank page.
Joomla 1.7 also here. I try it both in my hosting server and localhost WAMP server. Both with the same problems...

Version 3.0.0 was working JUST fine! The problem appears with 3.01. Please find a solution

Hi, I have the same problem with v3.0.1.
First, the image is uploaded via FTP in the root/image/phocagallery folder. Now I want to add image in phocagallery/images to a predefined category. The "new" window opens, I fill in the title and the category. Now I press the filename button and the data browser window opens. Most of the time a error message shows up: Script is not answering (Chrome://global/content/bindings/general.xml:0). If I stopp the script and choose an image, the sceen becames dark and nothing happens anymore. I have to close the tab and have to connect again.
Sometimes this does not happen and I can select the picture and the window closes. Now I save the image. The result is a blank page with the address: http://www.kuesten-radtouren.de/jupgrad ... ayout=edit. Nothing happens anymore.
I can go back to the image window by pressing the back button of the browser and everything there is empty.
Is there anything in the settings which is wrong?

Something is wrong with phoca gallery 3.0.1, I did a clean Joomla 1.7 install (installed just gallery) and had the same problem. After saving the image blank page appeared. So i uninstalled the component and installed the older 3.0.0. version and it works excelent with Joomla 1.7 .

Jip, same for me.
Brand new Joomla 1.7 installation. Only phoca gallery 3.0.1.
Adding pictures will give a blanc screen.

Hi, I still wating for information about the php error or database error or some errorLog.

There were no changes in administration between 3.0.0 - 3.0.1

Testing now the 3.0.1 and works Ok on my all test servers.

So maybe if someone will post me through the PM the logins to admin, I can take a look at it (but php error displaying must be on on the server)


Anyway (I think, this will be not a problem) try to disable java upload for administration in Options of Phoca Gallery

Administration - Phoca Gallery - Options - Users - Enable Java Upload: Disable

Disabling Java uploading is not the solution Jan.

You may login as Admin to my site but how can I PM you. Sounds stupid but I don't find a PM button.

i have also the same problem, after i upload a picture you just get a blanc page:

it dosn't matter if i make a upload with java or picture by picture. it wil not add.
