This is maybe kinda stupid question, but I wasn't able to find the answer on my own even with the help of grep command. So simply ... I upload a file and add it in a category ... in which file is file information inserted into database (table #__phocadownload)?

Hi, yes, the #__ means prefix set in your database.

Well, that wasn't my question:) Basically, what I need to do is to modify the component so it saves something more in a different table and I need file id and name, which I will be able to get after the insert query is done. But I am unable find the line in the code, that saves the file info.

Jelikož koukám, že anglicky si nerozumíme, tak bych to napsal česky pro jistotu, aby zase nedošlo k nedorozumění Takže .. potřeboval bych vědět, v jakém souboru dochází k uložení informací o souboru do databáze. A dále bych potřeboval to samé i pro kategorie, tzn. jestli by bylo možné říct, ve kterých souborech se nachází řádky, na kterých se dané věci ukládají do databáze, já to prostě nedokážu najít :/ Jde mi o to, že když v administraci vytvořím soubor nebo kategorii, tak abych moh potom ve skriptu pracovat s id a názvem. Předem díky.

Phoca Download používá MVC, to znamená, že informace se ukládají v modelech - většinou ve funkci save nebo store (záleží na verzích Joomly!)
